麻辣牛筋  Sliced Beef Tendons  


Ingredients: 


1 lb. beef tendons

①        2T. soy sauce

1/2 c. water

dash of chopped coriander

2 green onions, sliced diagonally

②       3T. soy sauce

1T. each: hot chili oil,sesame oil

2t. each: sugar, white vinegar

1/2 t. salt


Procedure:

①    Clean the beef tendons by rinsing them.  Place the tendons and ① in a heatproof bowl.  Steam for 4 hours, or until tender.  Remove the bowl of tendons from the steamer.  Place the tendons in another bowl and refrigerate.  When cool, remove and cut into thin slices.

②    Mix the sliced tendons with the chopped coriander, green onion, and ②; place on a serving plate and serve.
